Night Owl Optics

Night Owl Optics combines a versatile optic with a digital NV system and image-capture capabilities to create their 2.6x41 iGEN NV20/20 Digital Night Vision Monocular. This device features a 30 lp/mm resolution with the ability to save images to an on-board card slot that accepts SD cards up to 32GB, or to an external device via its RCA video-out port. In low-light conditions, the digital intensifier system boosts available light for enhanced images, and under extreme darkness its built-in IR illuminator can provide a light source for the intensifier allowing it to pierce the darkest night outdoors or deepest corners inside. The fully selectable system features a single multi-directional navigation button that gives you access to the intuitive menu-driven programming functions. You have control over the auto-off time interval, gain, display brightness, exposure, image and text color, with the ability to quickly reset the entire system to factory default settings. The iGen has a 1/4"-20 tripod mount for long observation sessions or when the exposure is turned up, and it runs on four user-supplied AA batteries.Optical Performance 2.6x magnification41mm objective lens16" close focus distance12 angle of view630' field of view at 1000 ydNight Vision Digital night vision systemSelectable gain for increased light amplification30 lp/mm resolutionDay & night operationIntegrated IR illuminator for extreme low-light conditionsIR Intelligence: Automatic adjustment through 3 levels optimizes output based on ambient lightVariable exposure rate from 2 to 30 fpsImage Capture Selectable, NTSC or PalCaptures in black & whiteImages saved to SD cards up to 32GB. 2GB card includedSelectable JPEG or TIFF image formatsRecord images to external source from RCA output portVariable frame rate from 2 to 30 fpsUse and Handling Single multi-directional button for easy navigation, selection and customizationFront objective focus ring to focus image on displayRear dioptric adjustment focuses eyepiece on displayProgrammable auto-off function from 1 to 45 minutesSelectable display brightnessImage Display Color: White, red, green, blueSelectable Text Color: Black/white, red, green, amber1/4"-20 tripod mountRuns on four user-supplied AA batteries
