By isolating, filtering, and reducing noise, this switch delivers an audiophile-grade signal quality to connected components. Adorned with eight precisely spaced gold-plated Gigabit-speed RJ45 Ethernet ports, the Bonn NX is designed to minimize signal interference. Additionally, a gold-plated ground terminal provides further noise reduction. Choose between the built-in 25 MHz TCXO oscillator clock or an external master clock, connected through the gold-plated receiving input, to minimize network latency, phase noise, and jitter problems.Advanced Design Built to minimize noise, the Bonn NX includes a radar-grade internal switching power supply module that's designed for noise-sensitive acoustic equipment. A 12V DC auxiliary power jack bypasses the internal switching power module, enabling connection to an external linear power supply to provide a major performance upgrade. Its chassis consists of an inner galvanized steel layer and a thick aluminum alloy exterior that maximize the shielding and control eddy currents while damping vibration and noise.TCXO Clock An internal 25 MHz TCXO (Temperature Compensation Crystal Oscillator) clock helps to eliminate extraneous frequencies and generate a precise clocking signal to significantly lower network latency issues and jitter effects.
