Oberwerk

Featuring FK-61 extra-low dispersion lenses with field flatteners for edge-to-edge sharpness, the 12x50 ED Ultra Binoculars from Oberwerk offer powerful magnification and large objective lenses for a bright view, even in low-light conditions. The ED glass has full antireflection broadband multicoating to deliver a crisp, high-contrast image with minimal chromatic aberration. Porro prisms produce an image with depth of field that many find more three-dimensional than roof prisms. The waterproof housing is nitrogen-filled for fog resistance and wrapped in a slip-resistant rubber armoring for shock resistance and a comfortable grip. Binoculars this powerful generally require use of a tripod and the Oberwerk heavy-duty tripod adapter is included.Optical Performance Magnification: 12xObjective lenses: 50mm diameterFK-61 extra-low dispersion objectivesField flatteners for sharpness across the field of view5.8 angle of view for a 304' field at 1000 ydAntireflective multicoating for reduced glare and improved contrastPorro prism design, BAK4 prism glass18mm eye relief for comfortable viewing distanceConstruction Details Slip-resistant rubber armoringNitrogen-filled for fog and waterproof performance
