Oberwerk

Featuring old-school Porro prisms, prized by fans for an image that seems more three-dimensional, the 8x42 Deluxe Binoculars from Oberwerk are a well-appointed optic for general use by professionals and recreationists. They have plenty of magnifying power, but not so much that hand-shake spoils the view, and provide a generous 8 angle of view. The 42mm objective lenses admit ample light for a bright image, even in low-light conditions. Full antireflection broadband multicoating assures crisp, high-contrast images. The waterproof metal housing is nitrogen-filled for fog resistance and wrapped in a slip-resistant rubber armoring for shock protection and a comfortable grip.Optical Performance Magnification: 8xObjective lenses: 42mm diameter8 angle of view yields a 420' fieldAntireflective multicoating reduces glare and improves contrastPorro prism design, BAK4 prism glass16mm eye relief provides comfortable viewing distanceConstruction Details Slip-resistant rubber armoringNitrogen-filled for fog and waterproof performanceTwist-up eyecups accommodate eyeglass wearers and non-wearers
