The Pyle Pro PDWMU105 is a wireless microphone system consisting of a handheld wireless microphone and a plug-in receiver. It operates in the UHF band, giving you 16 channels and a simple plug-and-play operation. Plug the adapter receiver into a compatible speaker or device by means of its 1/4" plug. Conversely, you can make use of the included 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter to route audio to gear with 3.5mm inputs. Pairing the handheld microphone to the receiver is an easy affair, and is described straightforwardly in the manual. The handheld microphone, which also functions as the transmitter, has a dynamic capsule with a unidirectional polar pattern to minimize off-axis pickup. Its built-in acoustic pop filter helps fight against plosives and excessive wind noise. The transmitter provides up to 165' of wireless range. The handheld microphone requires two separately available AA batteries to operate. The receiver is powered by means of a built-in rechargeable battery.
