Frequency optimized to capture vocal performances, the Audix PDX720 Dynamic Vocal Studio Microphone (Signature Edition) features a dynamic mic capsule designed to deliver smooth, natural vocals with excellent low-end extension. The mic's hypercardioid polar pattern focuses audio capture narrowly in front of the capsule, helping to reduce bleed from other instruments as well as reflections from walls and hard surfaces in untreated recording environments.A 3-position high-pass filter switch can be set to Off, 155, or 120 Hz, allowing you to easily remove unwanted low-end frequencies. Similarly, a 3-position presence boost switch can be set to Off, +1.5, or +3 dB to accentuate frequencies in the 3 to 8 kHz range.
