Leader Moving Zone Plate for PHABRIX Sx is an add-on software option for the PHABRIX Sx line of test equipment. With this option installed, it will be possible to pre-program various zone plate patterns as well tweak controls over a number of parameters which can then be stored to internal memory. Moving Zone Plate enables the use of "dynamic" patterns to be applied as a way of testing various video processing devices. Particularly useful are its spacial and temporal controls which enable testing up/down converters, image scalers, and applications which compress signals.Another important function is frequency sweep testing which can be employed to determine the usable bandwidth of a system. Moving Zone Plate supports all formats including 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios and will also automatically scale patterns according to the particular format in use.
