Designed for medium to large editing teams, the PegasusPro R16 320TB 16-Bay Thunderbolt 3 RAID Array from Promise Technology is optimized for up to five concurrent 4K video editors and may be shared with up to 20 users via your network. Featuring sixteen drive bays equipped with 20TB 7200 rpm SATA III 3.5" hard drives, the 320TB array is driven by a 3.2 GHz Intel Core i7-8700 6-Core processor and 64GB of DDR4 memory. Its hardware-based controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60 configurations, while operations are kept cool using a 4500 rpm fan. Connectivity to your host system is established using a 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 port, with a second Thunderbolt 3 port available for daisy-chaining up to five additional devices, such as a Pegasus3 or Pegasus32. Or, expand the storage capacity using 12G SAS JBOD expansion. Other available ports and slots include four 10GbE RJ45 ports for account access over your network, two 1GbE RJ45 ports for system management using WebPAM Insight, four USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB-A 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, a VGA port, and a serial for technical support only, and two PCIe slots. The PegasusPro R16 is compatible with Windows 10 or later and macOS 10.15 or later. The PegasusPro R16 has a 3 RU form factor and fits into compatible racks. Its drive bays support 2.5"/3.5" SAS III and SATA III hard drives and SSDs. Included is a Thunderbolt 3 cable and a power cord.FileBoost Convert from DAS to NAS and vice-versa with FileBoost for the first time, reducing hours of troublesome transferring and sharing time to just one click.Performance and Sharing The PegasusPro R16 is recommended for small- to medium-sized editing teams. A single Thunderbolt 3 port directly connects to the Thunderbolt 3 editor and four 10GbE LAN ports, sharing with up to twenty NAS users with a 10Gb Ethernet switch, optimized for up to five 4K concurrent editors.Investment Protection for Pegasus Users Aggregate, manage, and share content via 1G/10G Ethernet ports to ensure the best utilization of asset to Pegasus users.
