This compact adapter is about the size of a thumb drive, and it can be used with macOS, Windows, Android, and Chrome OS computers. Applications include connecting a camera with HDMI output to be used as webcams, connecting gaming systems to stream via your computer, running a TV set-top box to your computer, and more. The included caps protect the USB and HDMI ports when they are not in use, and they attach to the adapter so they don't get lost when not in use. A USB Type-A female to male extension cable is also included. For acquisition from livestreaming platforms and capture applications, the compact capture device conforms to the UVC video and UAC audio USB standards, and it is compatible with popular software such as OBS, VLC, and AMCap, among many others.
