The Cavision Spacer Plate for Canon 7D is required for proper alignment of the MHE52 LCD viewfinder when used on the Canon 7D or T2i/550D. It attaches beneath the camera and raises its height so that the swing-away viewfinder fits securely over the LCD screen.
