The TOA RS-160 is a rugged indoor substation designed for dependable communication within the N-8000 Series Intercom System. Featuring a vandal-resistant stainless steel faceplate, the RS-160 is built to withstand heavy use in high-traffic environments while maintaining reliable performance. It supports half-duplex communication with registered master stations, ensuring clear conversations, even in challenging settings.Equipped with a built-in 4 cm cone-type speaker, the RS-160 delivers consistent audio quality with a rated input of 1W into 625 ohms. Its flexible wiring design supports transmission distances of up to 0.8 miles when using 0.9mm (AWG 19) cable, making it ideal for large facilities. Installation is straightforward, with included mounting hardware and optional compatibility with the YC-302 2-gang flush-mount electrical box. Compact and solidly built, the RS-160 measures 4.7 4.7 2.3" and weighs just 19 oz, offering a reliable, space-efficient communication solution.
