Designed for individuals, media professionals, and SMBs, the RS6618V 8-Bay Thunderbolt 3 RAID Enclosure from HighPoint is an expandable, high-density storage solution that can be integrated into most Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 computing platforms. It features an aluminum frame and paneling to reduce weight and maximize heat and has a frame-mounted carrying handle for portability. The RS6618V has 8 x 3.5/2.5" drive bays that support both SAS-3 12 Gb/s and SATA III 6 Gb/s drives and may be configured as RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and JBOD, each of which provides performance, data redundancy, or a combination of both. Compatible with 64-bit versions of Windows, Mac, and Linux, it connects to your host system using a 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 port.
