Designed to work with shielded twisted pair (STP) cables, the blue-tinted Simply45 ProSeries Cat 5e/6/6a Shielded RJ45 Pass-Through Modular Plug with Cap45 connects onto 24 AWG solid and 28-26 AWG stranded network cables up to 0.3" in diameter. Fifty single piece standard modular RJ45 plugs with overall internal ground shielding come packed inside of a clamshell package, and they work with most Cat 5e, Cat 6, and Cat 6a LAN cables. Each plug is designed to deliver high electrical conductivity and a strong connection to wire conductors. The Cap45 isolation cap/bar covers exposed wire ends to reduce the risk of electrical shorting.
