Description
Designed for use in secure defense and intelligence applications, this SDPN-4S-P 4-Port Single-Head 4K DisplayPort KVM Switch with CAC Port from IPGard features mechanical, electrical, and optical signal isolation to prevent hacking and data leakage. It controls data relays using inverted signals, shielding connections from outside intrusion by forcing them to work one at a time. Each port uses its own isolated data channel and each unit features a non-reprogrammable ROM to protect the switch's functions. The switch emulates the presence of a keyboard and a mouse for every attached computer through a USB cable, preventing direct connection between the peripherals and the connected computer. It allows users to assign specific peripheral devices to the CAC port. Once a peripheral device has been registered by an authenticated admin, users can then switch the connection between that device and the PC's along with KM switching. The switch simulates a generic EDID, allowing it to operate most of the connected monitors. Both selected and non-selected computers maintain a constant connection with the unit's video and AUX emulation controllers, restricting discovery of newly connected monitors during switching operations. The unit then prevents unwanted and unsecure data from getting transmitted through DDC lines by means of secure EDID learning and emulation.None Supports Windows, Mac, and Linux OSSingle-head DP video interfaceSupports 4K Ultra-HD resolution up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 HzSupports balanced speaker output and audio switchingAdvanced configurable CAC portFront panel tactile buttons with LED indicatorExternal power supply (Level VI efficiency)Non-reprogrammable ROMActive anti-tamper switchesLong-life internal anti-tampering batteryExternal tamper-evident sealsKeyboard, mouse, and video emulationCertified by NIAP (Protection profile for Peripheral Sharing Switch Version 3.0)Applications Government operationsDefense applicationsSecure control roomsCorporate communicationsServer operationsEducational administrationsMedical facilitiesBanking networkInsurance data centersTransit managementIndustrial operationsIntelligence communications
