Featuring six NEMA 5-15R and two 5-20R outlets, this UPS uses a NEMA L5-30P input connection. An RJ45 and USB Type-B port allow users to control this Smart-UPS system via a network or attached host. In addition to a 4 to 8 ms switch time, this UPS protects connected equipment from outages and surges with energy ratings up to 459 joules. Featuring hot-swappable batteries, the Smart-UPS 3000VA LCD RM 2U 120V TAA uses a sine waveform and line-interactive typology. In addition to power conditioning, temperature-compensated battery charging, and adjustable voltage sensitivity, this power supply also provides intelligent battery management and an automatic restart, among other features. Operational noise is kept to a relatively low 55 dBA and users can expand interfacing options using the built-in SmartSlot. In addition to the multifunctional LCD, LED indicators notify users when batteries are on, need replacing, or are overloaded. These LED indicators are complemented by audible alarms corresponding to the same battery conditions.
