Description
The Evno SPX1-W2 pairs the purpose-built SPX1 soprano saxophone microphone with Evno's W2 dual-channel wireless system to deliver natural sound and reliable performance in any setting. The W2 offers true flexibility with independent control of two microphones ideal for players who need expanded wireless setups. Please note that a second, separately available transmitter/microphone combination is required to access the second channel on the W2 receiver. Designed and handcrafted in the USA, the SPX1-W2 offers a lightweight, bell-mounted solution with maximum gain before feedback ideal for soloists, horn sections, or high-volume live environments.SPX1 Microphone for Soprano Saxophone Engineered specifically for soprano saxophone, the SPX1 microphone delivers a clear, accurate capture of your instrument s voice using a single capsule positioned over the bell. Its 5.5" Flex-Stay gooseneck allows precise placement while accommodating hand and key movement, and the vented aluminum body is suspended with a 7-point O-ring system for vibration isolation and full frequency response. The microphone connects via a 3-pin mini-XLR and supports wireless configurations with the included A1 transmitter or wired setups with the separately available PS95 phantom power adapter. The SPX1 can also be repositioned for use on alto, tenor, or baritone saxophone using the included SX-CL spring-loaded clamp. This makes it a versatile option for players who double on multiple horns.SX-CL Bell Clamp The SX-CL clamp provides a stable, padded mounting system for the SPX1 microphone. Its spring-loaded design allows fast attachment and removal, while an additional reinforcement screw ensures security during high-energy performances. The clamp is compatible with Evno SX-series microphones for other saxophones.Dual Wireless with Separate Outputs At the heart of the system is the W2 dual-channel receiver, which supports two microphone transmitters at once. Simply add an additional Evno mic and transmitter combination for compact, dual-channel performance that accommodates two performers simultaneously. Independent XLR outputs allow for separate EQ and volume control of each channel, with a 328-foot wireless range and diversity antennas providing stable, dropout-free performance. The A1 transmitter clips directly to the microphone assembly, eliminating bulky beltpacks. The system is well-suited for live shows, ensemble settings, and multi-instrument performances.Compact Receiver with Rackmount Kit The half-rack receiver is built into a metal chassis and includes a rackmounting kit and BNC extension cables. The antennas feature BNC locking connectors for rear or remote mounting. An LCD display provides clear readings of frequency, audio, and RF levels, while two XLR outputs and one 1/4" output offer flexible connection options.Flexible, Expandable Design Operating in the 902 to 928 MHz UHF band for North America and Brazil, the W2 receiver is compatible with Evno A2, A4, and AH transmitters; add an additional mic and transmitter for dual-channel operation. With 99 IR-selectable channels, you can run up to 5-6 systems simultaneously, making it suitable for large horn sections and doublers using multiple Evno microphones.Details Tuned for soprano saxophone performanceBell-mounted single mic for max gainSuspension-mounted capsule with replaceable O-ringsSpring-loaded SX-CL clamp with security screw5.5" Flex-Stay gooseneck for precise mic placementA1 transmitter clamps to instrument and features 3-pin mini-XLR for wired or wireless useDual-channel receiver with separate XLR outputs for each mic and transmitter combination99 selectable UHF channels and quick IR component syncCompact half-rack receiver designReceiver also works with A2, AH, and A4 transmitters; works alongside Air and W1 receiversCan be used with up to 5 systems simultaneouslyMade in the USA
