It features a slim 3-channel Dolby Atmos soundbar with beamforming height speakers, a wireless subwoofer with Symmetrical Flare Port technology, and two portable, wireless, rechargeable speakers to use as rear surrounds.Sonic Clarity, Slim Design Newly developed, custom eye-shaped speaker drivers deliver satisfying sound from a slim bar. By optimizing the shape, structure, and magnetic circuitry of the primary front drivers, Yamaha greatly improved cone strength and high-frequency clarity.Sound Beam Technology In this latest flagship model, Yamaha employs a YDA-141 high-performance amplifier with twelve (six per side) ultraprecise DSP-controlled beam speakers to produce height channel effects. With realistic Dolby Atmos playback, the Surround 90A delivers an amazing sound field that surpasses conventional soundbars.Improved Bass Response The subwoofer of this system employs Symmetrical Flare Port technology, newly developed through meticulous Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) measurements to deliver powerful, deeply resonant bass. The symmetrical horizontal/vertical port structure ensures extremely smooth release of the strong air flow generated during bass reproduction. As a result, port noise has been reduced by 20 dB compared to conventional models, enabling pure bass reproduction that is both powerful and deep.Intelligent Optimization SURROUND:AI analyzes content in real time to optimize every element of every scene dialogue, music, ambient sounds, and effects. It's like having a Yamaha sound engineer fine-tuning the sound just for you. This exclusive Yamaha technology is powered by a Qualcomm QCS407 64-bit SoC, the same processor used in Yamaha's flagship AVENTAGE AV receivers.Streaming and Control Made Easy The Surround 90A supports MusicCast, Yamaha's advanced wireless audio platform that puts system and content control in your hands through the intuitive MusicCast app. Seamlessly stream music from popular services like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, TIDAL, Qobuz, and more, over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or AirPlay. The app lets you browse, play, and control audio across MusicCast-compatible devices with ease.AURO-3D Immersive Audio As the world's first AURO-3D soundbar, the Surround 90A takes full advantage of the height-channel sound beams to create a sense of realism as if you were experiencing a live performance in person. In addition, with great effect thanks to the AURO-3D Auro-Matic function, stereo content is up-mixed into an exceptional three-dimensional sound field.Surrounds That Are Truly Wireless Unlike most wireless surround speakers, the two True X Speaker 3A units included with this soundbar are truly portable, able to operate on wired power or from their built-in rechargeable batteries. Additionally, they can switch from Surround to Solo mode at the touch of a button, so you can take one with you to another room or on the road as a standalone Bluetooth speaker.Additional Details Clear Voice makes it easier to hear dialogue and vocalsBass Extension adds body and depth to the bassSupports HDMI eARC and CECSoundbar is wall mountable with included brackets
