Sound Shark

The Sound Shark by Klover SS1-ACC-K-WC Parabolic Collector ACC Base Kit includes a Klover parabolic collector, a custom accessory-mounting bracket (already installed), and a lavalier microphone wind cover. The parabolic collector turns an omnidirectional lavalier mic (available separately) into a long-range microphone, enabling wedding, event, and sports videographers to capture audio from 30 to 50' with more clarity than when using a standard mic, to produce videos that make the viewers feel like they are experiencing the action up close. The parabolic dish design focuses the sound energy from a large area onto a single point, zeroing in on your subject, while rejecting unwanted ambient noise from the side and back of the mic. The shape of the dish shields the microphone from wind noise, ideal for outdoors use. The wind cover provides additional wind protection, while remaining acoustically transparent. The accessory-mounting bracket allows flash shoe accessories, such as compact LED lights (available separately), to be mounted to the base of the parabolic collector.Parabolic Collector ACC Base Kit Klover parabolic collectorCustom accessory-mounting bracket (already installed)Klover wind coverKey Features Parabolic dish collector turns your omnidirectional lavalier microphone (available separately) into a long-range microphone capable of capturing audio from 30 to 50'Record speakers from up to 6 away as if they were wearing a lavalier micDesign based on the same technology used by television networks to pick up the on-field sounds of professional sportsFocused sound rejects more sound from behind and from the side than any shotgun microphoneParabolic dish shields the microphone from wind during use outdoorsIncluded wind cover provides even more resistance to wind noiseCustom accessory bracket allows flash shoe accessories, such as compact LED lights (available separately), to be mounted to the base of the parabolic collectorAny omnidirectional lavalier microphone can be mounted in the parabolic collectorCompatible with any camera or digital recorder equipped with a jack for an external microphoneSmall enough to be mounted directly on a video camera, light stand, tripod, or Magic ArmFlexible and durable made from the same material as bulletproof glass
