Schoeps

Popular among professional audio engineers, the matte gray Schoeps Colette CMC 1 L Microphone Amplifiers and MK 22 Open-Cardioid Capsules Stereo Set is an ultracompact, space-saving Colette Series modular microphone bundle that includes two CMC 1 L (mini LEMO output) miniature microphone amplifiers, a matched pair of MK 22 wide-cardioid mic capsules, two K 5 LU LEMO to XLR 3-pin male cables, two SGC miniature stand mounts with swivels, two B 5 D hollow-foam pop screens, and a premium case for secure transport and storage. The MK 22 capsule is popular for use as a spot or soloist's microphone, as the mid microphone for M/S, or as a main microphone pair. Its open-cardioid polar pattern offers the optimal combination of directionality (MK 4 cardioid) and warm sound characteristics (MK 22 wide cardioid). The highly consistent frequency response leads to natural sound quality. Thanks to the inclusion of the ultracompact CMC 1 L amplifier, this bundle serves as a lighter and smaller alternative to the acclaimed CMC 6 amplifier without compromising sonic performance.None Complete alternative to the renowned CMC 6 amplifierNone Can be used in place of the CMC 6 with no compromiseNone Electrical characteristics of the CMC 1 L are equal to, or even better than, those of the CMC 6 (flat frequency response, very low distortion, and constant output impedance across the audio frequency range)None Only 1" long (about a third the size of the CMC 6)None Weighs just 1 ounce (about 53% lighter than the CMC 6)None Fully compatible with all existing MK capsules and Colette active accessories such as the CUT 60 and RC tubesNone Compatible with all accessories of the CCM seriesNone Very high immunity from RF interference with the Schoeps RFI ShieldNone Optimized RF protection of the CMC 1 L makes it ideal for use with transmitters such as the Audio Limited A 10None Balanced, direct-coupled, Class-A output circuitNone Output is filtered in the ultrasonic range to prevent interference, e.g. from camera autofocusNone Includes 16.4' miniature LEMO to XLR 3-pin male adapter cableNone Includes mic clip for easy attachment to a mic standNone Suspension mounts such as the Rycote INV-5 are available separately
