The STRAUSS ELEKTROAKUSTIK SE-NF-3 Nearfiled Monitor is a passive speaker that is meant to be used in high-end mixing and critical-listening applications. This is a nearfield monitor, offering a 1" soft-dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet. For the low and midrange frequency, the speaker offers a 5" woofer with a coated paper cone and a ferrite magnet circuit. All told, this monitor will net a frequency response of 38 Hz to 26 kHz (-6 dB) when paired with a suitable amplifier to power the speaker. It is designed to handle 60W RMS of power. You'll find binding posts on the back of the unit to connect to an amplifier (separately available). With a dispersion of 100 x 60 (horizontal x vertical), the monitor is quite suited for your studio environment, as it can address the sweetspot and surrounding areas more than adequately. The monitor is solidly constructed at 22 lb.
