SYMPLY

The SymplyPRO XTL 24 LTO-8 Tape Library from Symply is a compact, high-capacity solution for automated data backups or archives. Its 2 RU form factor features one half-height LTO-8 tape drive and houses two removable magazines, each of which supports 12 LTO-8 tapes with a native capacity of 6TB and read/write speeds of up to 300 MB/s. You can take advantage of 2.5:1 compression, which allows LTO-8 tapes to store up to 15TB at speeds of up to 750 MB/s. In addition to LTO-8 tapes, the XTL 24 can read and write to LTO-7. System connectivity is established using dual 10GbE (iSCSI) SFP LC interfaces, while an Ethernet port allows for system service and management. Additional connectivity is provided via RJ11, USB-A, and a SAS output for connecting to SAS tape drives. Also featured is a mail slot, which is used to import/export individual cartridges without interrupting library operations.Additional Details Effortless installation and user-friendly InterfaceFast performance and Uncompromising reliabilityModular design for seamless scalabilityNo restrictive capacity or partitioning licensesSAS and Ethernet connectivityCompact 2 RU tape library suitable for SMBs24 LTO cartridge slots2 removable tape magazines for bulk loading/unloading1 half-height tape driveNative SAS drive interface10Gb Ethernet host interfaceUncompressed capacity up to 288TB (LTO-8)Supports up to 24 LTO cartridges concurrentlyLTO-8 and LTO-7 with SAS interfaceFront operator panel with LCDModular drive and optional host interface designRemote management and monitoring via EthernetEncryption capableDrive firmware update via remote managementLibrary firmware can be updated via remote management interface or via Front Operator Panel and connected USB storage
