This VESA Mount Adapter from StarTech allows a 7.9 to 12.5" tablet to be secured to select VESA-compatible single-monitor mounts for use in POS, hospitality, and retail applications. Easily add a display to an existing setup by attaching this adapter to an available VESA monitor mount or arm. The arm must support rotation, but other adjustments may be possible depending on the capabilities of the individual VESA mounting point/monitor mount. The adapter's clever design does not block the ports, front-facing camera, or buttons, allowing users to use all the tablet's features.The VESA tablet mount features anti-theft measures, such as anti-tamper mounting screws and lockable tablet clamps that can deter the theft of the attached tablet. The included weighted plate can be added to the tablet mount to ensure optimal operation of spring-assisted/one-touch monitor arms.Enhanced Productivity This VESA adapter supports screens from 7.9 to 12.5" and weighing up to 4.4 lb. It can attach a tablet to a VESA 75 x 75 or 100 x 100mm monitor mount for use in office or retail applications.Secure Tablet Cradle Anti-theft measures include tamper-resistant screws and an optional lock for the tablet clamp to help protect the tablet. The lockable mount is ideal for retail, restaurant, self-checkout, and service applications. The secure tablet mount holds the tablet at opposite corners to avoid blocking any buttons, ports, or the front-facing camera. Keys and mounting hardware are included.Convenient Mounting Options An optional 11.2 oz weighted plate is included to accommodate the typical minimum weight capacity of spring-loaded or gas-assisted monitor arms or mounts. The tablet clamp features a spring mechanism for easily mounting tablets of different sizes.
