Carson

Designed with a compact form-factor and ideally suited for birding, hunting, or hiking, Carson Optical's black 8x32 TD-832ED 3D-Series Binoculars feature an array of optical technologies to produce binoculars that neither take up precious pack-space, nor sacrifice performance. Beginning with phase-corrected BAK4 roof prisms, color fidelity, contrast, and resolution are all enhanced. Next, Carson employs extra-low-dispersion glass to correct for chromatic and spherical aberrations to enhance image clarity, and further increase contrast and color definition. They then apply their proprietary HD (high-definition) optical coating to fully multicoat the optical path to improve light transmission for bright, sharp images, especially in low-light conditions.Rubberized black armor coating makes these 3D Binoculars rugged and shock resistant. The thumb grooves and texture hand-holds make for a pleasant, non-slip, ergonomic grip. The body is nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed, making them waterproof and fogproof. The TD-042ED combines twist up eyecups with an extra-long eye relief, resulting in a great combination for the outdoor enthusiast.Optical Performance 8x magnification32mm objective lensesCompact BAK4 roof prismsPhase correction coatings on prisms to correct for chromatic aberration and enhance image contrastProprietary HD anti-reflection fully multicoated opticsExtra-Low-Dispersion glass corrects for spherical and chromatic aberrations to improve image quality with true color rendition and virtually no distortion392' field of view at 1000 yd60 apparent field of viewUse and Handling Closed-bridge configurationKnurled center focus knobRight-eye dioptric correction19.5mm long eye reliefConstruction Details Nitrogen-filled, waterproof, and fogproofProtective black rubberized armoring provides shock-resistanceTextured hand-holds provide slip-resistant gripThumb grooves on underside provide a more secure grip
