Description
With a 40 Gbps switching capacity and a variety of advanced management features, the TEG-204WS 20-Port Gigabit Managed Switch from TRENDnet gives network admins complete control over their network. This switch comes equipped with 16 Gigabit ports and 4 shared Gigabit ports (RJ45/SFP), making it easy to connect a variety of network components directly to the switch. The switch can be easily installed into an existing rack and features a fanless metal housing. Once installed, network admins can utilize features like 802.3ad link aggregation, asymmetric VLAN, 802.1Q VLAN, Voice VLAN, Loopback Detection, and much more to easily manage traffic throughout the network. Monitoring protocols including RMON, SNMP, SNMP Trap, and Port Mirroring also provide admins the ability to manage various aspects of the network. If that's not enough, access control features including ACL, SSL, MAC/port filtering, and a variety of additional protocols offer enhanced access control capabilities.Web Smart Management Provides an easy-to-use web-based GUI management for reduced switch configuration complexity and offers a combination of SMB management features for easy deployment.Integration Flexibility Managed features include access control lists, VLAN, IGMP snooping, QoS, RMON, SNMP trap, and syslog for monitoring and flexible network integration.High-Speed SFP Offers four shared gigabit SFP slots to allow for long distance fiber optic connections.Hardware Design Fanless rack mountable 1U metal housing features 16 gigabit ports and 4 shared gigabit ports (RJ-45/SFP).IPv6 Ready This switch supports IPv6 configuration and IPv6 neighbor discovery.Traffic Management A broad range of network configurations are supported by: 802.3ad link aggregation, Asymmetric VLAN, 802.1Q VLAN, Voice VLAN, RSTP, MSTP, Loopback Detection, GVRP, 802.1p Class of Service (CoS), port bandwidth management, and QoS queue scheduling.Troubleshooting A convenient cable diagnostic test and traffic statistics aid in network troubleshooting.Access Control Features such as ACL, SSL, MAC/port filtering, 802.1X, TACACS+, and RADIUS are compatible with layered access controls.Monitoring RMON, SNMP, SNMP Trap, and Port Mirroring support administrator monitoring solutions.
