Roland

The Roland Boutique TR-08 Rhythm Composer is an ultra-compact recreation of the original TR-808 drum machine. The unit features the same front-panel layout and user interface as the original and is powered by Roland's Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) technology, which delivers the same huge, speaker-pummeling output, but in a more affordable and portable format. The TR-08 offers precise control over an array of drum parameters and includes the ability to keep playing when switching modes, something the original was unable to do. The TR-08 features ten separate outputs via USB, external instrument control via the on-board trigger output, and USB MIDI. The unit can be powered by USB or via the included four AA batteries, and it ships with a black DK-01 Boutique dock.None Ultra-compact recreation of the TR-808 drum machineRetains the sound, character, and user interface of the original TR-808Hands-on control including tone, level, tuning, and decayAdded compressor, gain, tune, and pan for selected instrumentsProgrammable via classic Step- and Tap-write modesSequencer has 16 steps with 16 sub-steps for detailed patterns and rollsContinue playing beats, even while switching between write modesLED display for easier navigation and fine control of tempo and shuffleTen separate outputs via USB audioDedicated, track-selectable trigger output for controlling external instrumentsHigh-quality construction with metal front panelHighly portable for mobile music-makingIncludes DK-01 Boutique Dock for multiple-angle viewingBattery operated (4 x AA) or USB poweredBuilt-in, powered mini-speaker for instant enjoymentCompatible with optional Roland Boutique accessories
