Description
The Blue edition Starlight Trius Pro-814 Monochrome CCD Camera features a ICX814AL Exview progressive scan CCD sensor to capture views of the cosmos in 3388 x 2712 resolution through your telescope or astrograph. Utilizing a monochrome sensor allows the system to use 100% of its available pixels for better resolution, and gives you the ability to use filters and filter wheels to isolate specific colors and wavelengths for later stacking in post. An integrated auto-guider output port allows you to easily tether it to your off-axis guider (OAG) to improve tracking accuracy and precision during long imaging sessions. There is also a three-port USB hub that allows you to power and control accessories, like filter wheels and electric focusers, from your computer software utilizing just one USB cable between the camera and PC.Sensor ICX814AL Exview progressive scan CCD3388 x 2712 resolution with an 12.49 x 9.99mm active area360 to 1100nM useful spectral responseExcellent blue light sensitivity and a strong infrared response for both planetary and deep-sky imaging, especially with an H-alpha filterExtremely low thermal noiseCCD temperature monitoring circuit provides regulated set-point cooling of the chipUse Adapters for 1.25 & 2" drawtubes to fit into most telescopesCompatible with standard M42 SLR lenses to take pictures without a telescopeBack focal distance 17.5mm from the barrel front to the CCD 1mmWhen using with SCT optical tubes, it is recommended that the camera be paired with a focal reducer to speed up the focal ratio for imaging deep-sky objects and a Barlow lens to slow down for f/ value for planetary imagingBuilt-in three-port powered USB hub to power accessories like a filter wheel and electric focuserHigh-speed USB 2.0 interfaceImage download time of 5 seconds in 1 x 1 binning modeBuilt-in autoguider output is compatible with most mountsSingle USB cable control for all features to eliminate tangled cablesTwo-stage cooling fan with an argon-filled CCD chamberLow power consumption of less than 1.5A @ 12 VDCComputer System Requirements Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 One USB 2.0 port availableAt least 256MB of memoryBetween 1 and 4 GHz Pentium processor speed is recommendedMinimum of 1024 x 768 resolution monitor with 24-bit color
