The Eastwind Audio TX-FLEX-4P is a compact 6" mini gooseneck omnidirectional microphone that plugs directly into a Shure AD1 Axient Digital wireless transmitter with TA4 Mini-XLR input. This microphone is ideally suited for applications such as vehicle shots, podiums, courtrooms, press conferences, and other scenarios where discreet microphone placement is essential. The TX-FLEX-4P is crafted from a modified 6" Shure Microflex gooseneck mic and custom-fitted with a TA4F connector, allowing for seamless integration with the AD1 transmitter. With its omnidirectional pickup pattern, the TX-FLEX-4P offers exceptional reach and clarity, capturing sound from all directions while maintaining linear off-axis performance. This makes it particularly effective for recording dialog in vehicle shots, as it can pick up voices from multiple speakers with just one microphone, even when the speakers turn their head away from the mic.
