Ideal for retrofit wiring scenarios, the PoE Over 2-Wire Retrofit Extender from Ubiquiti allows you to transfer data and power using 2-wire twisted pair or coaxial cables. This kit includes wall mountable transmitter and receiver modules that link to your network devices through 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet ports. The transmitter supports a 50V / 1.2A PoE++ input when connected to a compatible network switch while the receiver outputs 48V / 0.6A PoE+. The system can deliver up to 25W across 164' of cable. The maximum power range and data support differs according to the type of cable you use. UTP 24 AWG wires or RG-6 coaxial cables are recommended for optimal performance.
