The Ikegami UHK-X600 4K Upgradeable HD Studio/Portable Camera System comes with the BSX-100H Digital Base Station and is equipped with a conventional B4 mount. Boasting three 2/3" CMOS sensors (one for each RGB channel) with global shutter technology, the UHK-X600 is field upgradeable with optional software keys to provide you with options for upgrading to additional functionalities, such as 4K video capture at 60 fps, HFR capturing, and 4K/HD SDR simulcasting. The included 3 RU base station offers a broad range of connectivity options and supports a wide color gamut with HDR and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG), as well as an optional MoIP plug-in unit. The BSX-100H is compatible with all UNICAM XE and UNICAM HD camera systems.3 CMOS Global Shutter Sensor The CMOS sensor incorporates a global shutter pixel architecture, enabling the camera to capture natural images even under challenging situations. Still frame replay of fast-moving objects is free from geometric distortion, and there are no flash bands when the camera is shooting under strobe lights or flashes from still cameras.No Color Aliasing Three-chip optical technology drastically reduces color aliasing, which is always an issue with single-chip cameras. With the optional Low-Pass-Filter aliasing, effects can be reduced even more, which is especially helpful when shooting LED walls.Remote Backfocus Adjustment The Remote Backfocus Adjustment function helps set accurate back focus even when the camera head is in an environment where it is hard to reach the back focus adjustment on the lens or difficult to critically see the viewfinder picture.Focus Assist Function The Focus Assist function is a newly incorporated useful tool, providing very distinct enhancements to the viewfinder signal to enable the camera operator to make critical focus adjustments. The size of the area, area color, edge color, and display time on the viewfinder are adjustable in the camera menu.Wide Color Space and HDR The gamma setting is selectable and can be customized to create a specific tone. The Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG), which conforms to the international standard (ITU-R BT.2100), is pre-installed and enables more neutral image quality with high contrast for a wider dynamic range. This allows for more image information to be retained with greater headroom and color grading.Compact, Lightweight, and User Friendly The compact body, 11 lb weight, and low center of gravity create the perfect balance together with the adjustable shoulder pad while shooting on the shoulder. Additionally, the viewfinder can be adjusted in three axes.Optional Add-On Functionalities with the BSX-100H 4K/HD Base Station The BSX-100H is the base station for the UHK-X600. Leaving a blank rear expansion slot in the standard configuration, this base station maximizes the performance and efficiency of the future-proof license system of the UHK-X600.Eight channels of 3G/HD-SDI output, including one MON output with character information. There are six input channels of 3G/HD-SDI, four for RET and two for prompter support, all simultaneously sent to the camera and available for output at the camera.Four channels of 3G/HD-SDI output are available by fitting the optional 12G OUT module in the expansion slot.The 12G OUT module feeds 4K images via four channels of 12G-SDI when the UHK-X600 operates with an optional 4K license key.The UHK-X600 supports the SMPTE ST 2110 media-over-IP interface by fitting the BSX-100H with the MoIP option module. Remote control and resource management are available from external controllers supporting AMWA NMOS.IS-04 and IS-05.With one of the optional output modules (12G OUT or MoIP) that has a GbE port, a 1 Gb/s Ethernet data trunk line is added between the UHK-X600 and the BSX-100H.
