The StarTech 4-Port USB 2.0 Extender over Ethernet and IP Network Hub lets you extend USB devices over a gigabit Ethernet local area network (LAN) using dedicated Cat 5e, Cat 6, or Cat 7 cabling up to 330'. The USB over IP extender allows you to utilize your existing IP LAN so you can avoid running new infrastructure cabling. When channeling through multiple switches at 330' intervals, the maximum extension distance resets at each switch location, making it easy to span multiple floors in a home or office setting.
