The 8x42 US Army Binoculars from Bower utilize BAK 4 roof prisms with anti-reflection multicoated optics to create images that are clear and bright. They are waterproof, so users can bring them on the water with confidence, and with a comfortable 8x magnification and wide angle 56 apparent field of view, subjects are easy to see, identify, and track with less noticeable shake than with higher-power binoculars. This wide viewing angle reduces wave-action discomfort at sea, and provides expansive views on land. Non-slip rubber armoring helps maintain a firm grip on the binoculars, while the twist-up eyecups make them comfortable to use with or without eyewear.Optical Performance 8x magnification42mm diameter objectiveBAK 4 roof prism optical designAnti-reflection multicoated optics for brighter images7 angular field of view, 56 wide angle field of view400' field of view at 1000 yardsUse and Handling Knurled center fast-focus wheelRight-eye dioptric adjustmentTwist-up eyecups for use with or without eyewearConstruction Details Sealed housing for waterproof performanceNon-slip rubber armoringUS Army "Army Strong" logo
