The AJA KUMO 16x16 Video Switcher from Vinten is a 16 x 16 video matrix router designed for use with Vinten HD-VRC, VRC, VEGA workstations, and VEGA server control systems to switch and control up to 16 cameras. It is a small, cost-effective solution for a range of broadcast, production, and post-production applications. This router features 16 SDI inputs and 16 SDI outputs. The KUMO 1616 has an embedded Linux operating system and internal web server, which provide web browser control via 10/100/1000 Ethernet with no need for additional software. The mini-USB port provides easy configuration of the router IP address and simplifies network configurations. The unit's compact 1 RU size makes it suitable for edit suites, mobile sports trucks, corporate video installations, and live theatrical A/V rigs while its HTTP support gives you a wide range of powerful control options.
