Ultra-fast f/0.95 maximum aperture is well-suited to working in difficult and low lighting conditions and provides unique control over depth of field for extraordinary background separation. Nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a creamy and pleasing bokeh quality when making shallow depth of field imagery. Close-focusing design provides a minimum focusing distance of just 7.9". Aperture ring click switch allows the lens to be switched between clicked and de-clicked apertures. Internal focusing minimizes focus breathing and prevents dusting. Apochromatic lens design suppresses chromatic aberration across in-focus and out-of-focus areas. This design also allows the lens to produce outstanding image performance for higher contrast and image fidelity.
