It offers a distinct, natural playing feel, harnessing the random variations of tubes rather than conventional VCA, optical, or field-effect transistor methods.The pedal has standard 1/4" mono input and output jacks, pots for output, compression, and tube gain, and a real-time envelope visualizer above the bypass switch. When the effect is deactivated, the NuTube buffer kicks in, allowing for a complete bypass of the pedal circuitry.
