Control video zoom and much more with the VRS-MULTI Video & Photo Remote for Select Sony Cameras from Revo. Perform key functions of many Sony cameras and camcorders remotely, using the remote handheld, mounted within reach on a video rig, or attached to your tripod pan handle. The remote allows you to achieve smooth and consistent zoom, start/stop recording, and trigger shutter release without camera shake. The two-step zoom rocker control provides variable zoom speeds depending on how hard it is pressed. Also, you can pull up your camera's grid lines and cycle through grid options, or use a lock switch to hold the shutter open for extended shooting in Bulb Mode. You can also set the camera to sleep and wake up to manage battery life. All this is done with dedicated buttons, allowing for quick and simple operation. Compatible Sony cameras include select a7 series, Handycam, Cyber-shot, and many other models. The remote connects using one of two included cables. One of these features a Multi-Terminal connector (as indicated on the camera), and the other has a 3-pin connector. The 3-pin cable is exclusively for shutter release operations. The remote is powered via the camera, so no batteries are required, and an LED indicator confirms active status. A mounting clip is included that can secure the Video & Photo Remote to pan handles and similar objects.
