It is also only one of a handful of pinhole lenses equipped with a varifocal zoom and CS mount. With this level of resilience and versatility, this lens is the perfect choice for industrial application needing a quality lens that can stand up in the harshest of environments.If you look at the image showing both lens models (this one and the 'B' model), you'll see that the lens opening on this 'A' model is slightly smaller (1.2mm vs. 3.8mm).Withstands Extreme Conditions This lens was tested to operate in temperatures as high as 1832 F (1000 C) for up to 10 minutes. It can also withstand the impact from sand and gravel.
