Bring the power of modern studio bass recording to your feet with the gray Darkglass Electronics Microtubes X7, a versatile bass preamp with a host of useful features. Sporting separate high and low level controls, low-pass and high-pass filters, and flexible I/O, the X7 is a universal tool for studio or stage.With the four main rotary knobs, you can control the amount of low-end compression, low-pass output level, high-pass output level, and high-pass distortion level. Five convenient studio-style sliders let you adjust master volume and two peaking and two shelving filters (80 and 500 Hz, and 1 and 5 kHz). You can also adjust the high- and low-pass filter frequencies. Along with standard instrument input and output, the X7 includes a balanced XLR output (ideal for sound systems and audio interfaces), and a parallel 1/4" output for parallel processing.
