ATTO Technology

Supporting up to four SAS-3 tape drives to your network, The ATTO XstreamCORE ET 8100T-TN0 Intelligent Bridge helps to back up your important data and keep it safe from catastrophic events. Acting as an external desktop adapter, this bridge allows your business to deploy and share tape storage over a 10 Gb/s Ethernet iSCSI network with two SFP+ optical slots and RJ45 to SFP+ copper cable transceivers. An LTO-7 or later compatible tape drive may be connected through the 12 Gb/s mini-SAS (SFF-8644) connector. The ATTO Distributed Software Architecture enables up to 2 GB/s sustained transfer rates by prioritizing transaction efficiency and high-performance memory management. Configure your XstreamCORE ET 8100T-TN0 using the web-based command line interface (CLI). Please be aware that this device is operating system independent, and an iSCSI initiator is required. For iSCSI Networks iSCSI Network Protocol enables Ethernet connectivity and maximizes interoperabilityATTO Distributed Software Architecture The ATTO Distributed Software Architecture (ADSA) is a self-optimizing real-time operating system designed specifically for embedded hardware. ADSA acts as a translator of one protocol to another and integrates advanced protocol, error handling, and application requirements into an existing infrastructure. The onboard data acceleration technology features multiple parallel I/O engines with end-end I/O processing and intelligent management of hardware buffer allocation.ATTO Advanced Data Streaming ATTO Advanced Data Streaming provides controlled acceleration for smooth data streaming.ATTO SpeedWrite Technology ATTO SpeedWrite technology improves SAS tape write performance by up to 20%Compact Design Small and portable therefore equally as useful in the field as they are on a desktop or in a server room.Easy Operation Automatic tape drive mapping via a simple management console for quick set up and smooth operation.
