The Yamaha XP105T-X Two-Zone 10" Electronic TCS Tom Pad with Wood Shell is an electronic tom drum designed for Yamaha's DTX series of electronic drum kits. The pad features a birch-wrapped shell with a black forest finish that provides the look of a real acoustic drum.This model features a textured cellular silicone (TCS) head with a unique surface that encloses numerous, precisely measured air bubbles at a frequency and thickness specifically designed to provide an authentic tom-playing experience. The result is a natural-feeling response and realistic stick rebound for enhanced playability that still allows for quiet practice sessions. The pad offers a two-zone response, allowing a player to trigger two different sounds from the drum module (available separately) by playing the head or rim of the tom.The XP105T-X tom pad is compatible with the DTX-PRO and the DTX-PROX drum modules. A tom mount holder and two connection cables (one is a back up) are included.
