The 88 GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) weighted keys along with three piano-style pedals provide realistic feel and response, while the sound engine with Virtual Resonance Modeling Lite (VRM Lite) delivers the expressive tone of Yamaha's flagship CFX concert grand piano. The piano's traditional console-style design incorporates elegant curves that are typical of an acoustic piano, adding a refined touch to the d cor of large and small living rooms, studies, and family rooms. A matching bench is included.Listen to the ARIUS YDP-145 through its 16W built-in speakers, or connect up to two pairs of headphones for personal monitoring that's gentle on the ears and won't disturb others. Expand your repertoire by practicing along with the 50 classic songs and 303 lesson songs included in the internal memory and supplied song book.Beautiful CFX Concert Grand Piano Tone and More The ARIUS YDP-145 offers the sound of a precisely sampled Yamaha flagship 9' CFX concert grand piano, which is sonically characterized by sparkling highs and a powerful resonant bass.Additional instrument sounds (10 total) include electric pianos, organs, harpsichord, and strings. The Layer mode allows two different instruments such as an acoustic piano and a string ensemble to be played together for a more complex sound that inspires even greater musical creativity. Choose from four types of reverb to sweeten your sound. With 192-note polyphony, the piano handles complex performances without cutting off notes.GHS Keybed: Realistic Touch for Proper Finger Technique The company's GHS (Graded Hammer Standard) weighted-action keybed reproduces the touch and feel of an acoustic piano, from a naturally heavy feel in the lower key to a lighter touch in the upper octaves just like the hammers inside an acoustic piano. The 88 keys feature matte black keytops to prevent slippage caused by perspiration. Great for the aspiring pianist, practicing on the GHS action helps build the proper finger technique and strength for when the time comes to perform on an acoustic piano.Experience the Harmonic Resonance of an Acoustic Grand Piano The YDP-145 utilizes Virtual Resonance Modeling Lite (VRM Lite) technology to reproduce the sympathetic resonance of an acoustic piano, created when the vibrations of the strings are propagated to the soundboard and other strings, and corresponding to the timing and intensity of key playing and pedaling.Expressive Variations with Three-Pedal System To further enhance the YDP-145's acoustic pianolike authenticity, the three-pedal system replicates the position and individual weighting of the damper (with half-pedal support), soft, and sostenuto pedals of the Yamaha CFX concert grand.16W of Natural Sound with Tone Escapement Construction In addition to the built-in 16W stereo speaker system, the YDP-145 uses tone-escapement construction on the back of the cabinet that emanates sound from inside the piano. This allows you to experience natural sound radiation and three-dimensional resonance like that of an acoustic piano.A Volume Limiter function lets you set a fixed maximum volume level, to protect your hearing from loud sound over the speakers or headphones.Comfortable Headphone Monitoring with Stereophonic Optimizer The YDP-145 employs technology that enhances the sound balance based on your monitoring level in the headphones. This gives you an exceptionally natural sound that's easy to listen to and gentle on the ears, great for extended playing. When wearing headphones, the Stereophonic Optimizer effect le
