Providing smooth strain wave gearing and neat cable management, the ZWO AM3N Strain Wave Gear Mount offers altazimuth operation for observation and go-to equatorial tracking via an app or a hand controller for astrophotography. The mount weighs just nine pounds but can support up to 17.6 pounds on its own or 28.7 pounds with a user-supplied counterweight and shaft. The brake system prevents the mount from toppling if the power is cut off.
